Love at first sight

2014 was the year I first went to Masasa Beach and it was love at first sight...

Masasa Beach is located at Tingloy Island Batangas

It was 2014 when my former motorcycle group organized a anniversary ride. We went to Masasa Beach in Tingloy Island Batangas. At first I was hesitant to go there because Im afraid to leave my motorcycle at the port.

Syempre mahal ko motor ko ayaw ko mawala or magasgasan knowing that there is no secured parking sa lugar. But having said that natuloy pa din ako sa pilit ng barkada lahat kasi sila kasama ayaw ko naman mahuli sa kuwentuhan after ng ride hehehe.

Yes this is an island and you need to ride a boat to go there. There are 2 ports available Anilao Port and Talaga Port. We meet at Caltex NorthGate Alabang around 4:00am and hope to take-off at 4:30am.

Our route will start at Alabang via Daang Hari Tagaytay, Lemery, Taal, Bauan, and Mabini Batangas. For a motorcycle it usually took you 3 hours from Alabang to Mabini Batangas it would be much faster if you ride a cage and use the star toll express exit at diversion road going to bolboc. There are public markets along the way it would be wiser if you buy there instead in the market near the port which are a bit expensive because they know that most of the people buying there are tourist pag turista ibig sabihin madami pera pero dahil di naman ako mayaman nag hahanap ako kung saan ako makakatipid.

Once you are in the port find a secured parking space for your motorcycle, you can ask the owner of the houses near the port if you can park your motorcycle on their property of course with fee usually Php 50 per day and Php 100 for overnight. For almost 5 years then things have changed like drastically. Before you can just go to the beach with your tent and enjoy the nature now things become more expensive... Once you are in the port you need to pay

Anilao Port Environmental Fee Php 50 Mabini Environmental Fee Php 30 Oppppsss... but wait there's more they don't allow overnight stay on you tent at the beach they said its for security reason. You need to rent transient house and it would cost you Php 350 per head.

Anyway after you have settled all the fees you can now register at the boat they charge Php 80 per head and you will be drop at Tingloy port from there you need to ride a tricycle Php 70 per trip good for 5 pax. .

Once you are in the beach there are 6 things you can do. First enjoy the pristine water of Masasa Beach, Selfie sa famous Rock Formation, Swimming sa lagoon, Snorkeling with the pawikan, Island Hopping, and Mountain Climbing. Dito lang ako nakakita ng madaming pawikan at ang lalaki nila. We went to sumbrero island for fish feeding this is a must pag-pupunta ka sa masasa sobrang daming fish iba-iba colors at sizes. You just need to bring water para di kayo uhawin. Island Hopping - Php 1,500 (4 hours island hopping good for 6) Snorkeling - Php 100 (1 hour per head) Mountain climbing at Mag Asawang Bato - Php 200 per guide

Wrapping up my trip to Masasa Beach It was a very unforgettable experienced indeed! I experienced Masasa Beach ung mga panahon na di pa sya kilala. Hindi pa commercialized at napaka tahimik pag dating ng hapon. Now kilala na sya sana matutukan ang kapakanan ng beach since may environmental fee na itong sinisingil. I cant wait na bumalik ulit see you soon!

After ma setup ang tent bihis na at prepare na to explore the island

2014 Puro locals lang ang kasama mo maligo

Picture perfect
